Monica Genta is a classroom teacher in rural Illinois. She is passionate about transforming education from average to awesome and does keynote speaking and educational consulting across the country. Monica believes that schools start to thrive when students are engaged, when relationships are built, and when content is connected to real life.

Monica is the author of 5 books, has given multiple TED Talks, and is a National Board certified teacher. She enjoys pizza, dance parties, and margaritas.
